Self Punishment

Buster Relic Point manages to tell a continuous story of life, insanity and death in one of the most pummeling albums I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Not listening to Elephant Man I and II straight through should be a crime. The sludgy upstrokes suddenly overpowered by drums and an odd time stamp hits you like a car crash. Hopefully this will not be the end of Relic Point, but this was one hell of a way to go. Favorite track: Elephant Man (Part II).

Steven Seagal pummeling, unforgiving walls of sonic misery. i love the production on this. it feels raw yet focused and THICK Favorite track: Dog Skin.

tr_🇺🇦 I don't think calling this "sludge" does it justice but I don't know how to succinctly describe it either. Walls of heavy guitar drones. Tortured distorted vocals. The 2nd song seems to have some leanings towards djent complete with weird drum patterns. The tension just never lets up. Disturbing, uneasy listening. Very well produced but still atmospheric.
